Dear Valued Business Partner,
Building upon legacies created by those that have come before me is a challenge I have cherished throughout my 30-year Swagelok career. From roles in corporate manufacturing, engineering, and sales support to representing Swagelok at sales and service centers in Philadelphia, Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Louis, and Detroit, I have been blessed with diverse experiences and learnings throughout the course of a journey that recently brought me to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. I look back fondly upon growing up in Akron/Canton (OH), graduating as a chemical engineer from The University of Akron, and relocating with my wife, Boni, and our four grown children numerous times to tackle career opportunities and expand upon our family adventures.
In keeping with the theme of welcoming new endeavors, I am excited to announce that I am continuing my journey representing the Swagelok brand. Starting October 1, 2026, a new business under my ownership, Westava LLC (d/b/a Swagelok Oklahoma | West Texas), will have the privilege of succeeding Tim Barney and his company, Oklahoma Fluid Solutions LLC, as the authorized Swagelok Sales & Service Center for Oklahoma, West Texas, and Eastern New Mexico.
All of us at Westava LLC wish Tim and his wife, Kay, the very best for a long and happy journey ahead. We thank Tim for 35 years of dedicated service and his tireless effort in establishing a high bar for the new organization to follow during his 21-year tenure at Oklahoma Fluid Solutions LLC, which ceases to operate as of September 30, 2026. Please reference Tim’s letter dated August 18, 2026, for further details about his retirement.

This is an exciting time for our associates as we commit to providing new and improved solutions that will fuel our future working together on the world’s fluid system challenges. To minimize impacts during and after the transition, all existing communication channels (email, phone, website, and customer portals) will remain unchanged for technical inquiries, quotes, and orders. Your company’s Accounts Payable and Procurement team members will receive additional notification on or about September 15, 2026, outlining information related to invoicing, billing, and transactional process changes that will become effective October 1, 2026.
